And, we have learned to continually focus on keeping our software current for optimal information and results. Our trucks are monitored in real time and, as such, we have access to vast amounts of accurate, to-the-minute information that allows us to make accurate, impactful decisions on any given situation, at any given time. Yes, APL has new trucks: 2020 to 2023 Peterbilt’s, Mack’s, Freightliner’s, Western Star’s and Volvo’s, all of them with that new truck smell and feel, yea you know what I’m talkin’ about. And, because we have new trucks, we back them up with APL’s own comprehensive, professional Maintenance Department to keep them running new. I wanted to take a moment to send a commendation for my dispatcher David. David was assigned to me approximately a month ago. He has been outstanding! David is by far the best dispatcher I have had the pleasure working with.
David is extremely efficient, communicative and strategically plans out my loads for all pick ups and deliveries, all while analyzing my routes, clock time and even knows the MPH on highways in order to know whether or not the load can be delivered on time. Which is extremely helpful to me to be as effective as possible out here in the field. This allows me to plan and manage my time efficiently as well.
David is always pleasant and professional at the same time. I couldn’t ask for a better dispatcher to work with. He deserves recognition with BIG KUDOS for his hard work & attention to detail.

I would just like to say that coming to APL has been nothing but a great experience I called in a rush to get into orientation and between Dannie and Barry getting me in with no questions I was literally in process of signing a lease with another company and Barry called me said don’t do it come with us!!
Barry was so great he helped me move all my belongings into the hotel and trust me I had a lot and even met me at budget to take my truck back and take me to the rental car place. Barry and the rest of the staff gets a 10+ from me!!!
